The M5158 18°/60° Ear Bars for Mice and Rats are special supporting accessories for stereotaxic instruments. Their core advantage lies in integrating the characteristics of ear bars with two angles (18° and 60°), enabling a single set of ear bars to meet the needs of two different experimental scenarios, while effectively reducing the problem of easy loss of spare ear bars.
In experimental applications, the ear bars offer flexible options: when the 18° ear bars are selected, they can be inserted into the animal's ear canal more easily, providing convenience for skull fixation; when the 60° obtuse-angle ear bars are selected, they can specifically solve the problem that mice have thin skulls which are prone to crushing and damage. The 60° ear bars realize fixation by fitting the mouse's ear canal, with simple and convenient operation, adapting to the diverse needs of brain experiments related to mice and rats.
